Ghoul is Videograve's 3rd full length album. The year is 2073, the last remaining vestiges of intelligent species have migrated under the scorched earth to claim disputed and undiscovered subterranean territories. Phantoms, humanoids, and other indescribable life forms struggle to inhabit and haunt caverns of the wet crust. Ghoul is an album about speculative environs shaped from the unseen world and the invisible things lying in wait for what the world above might encounter once down below. Ghoul is the nebulous future sound of strife inside the dark earth.
Ghoul was recorded between 2013 and 2016 in New York, Boston, and Seoul.
All songs written, recorded, and mixed by Danny Riley & Mitch Patrick.
Album art by: Tony Burhouse, Eric Demelis, and Gaspard Pitiot.
